This was originally intended to be a Mother's Day gift, though I ended up snagging a really beautiful blown glass fish at the OSU Art Glass sale, so I may give this to a friend instead.

Really quick and easy...I can't find the exact pattern for the crocheted flowers, but it was a Michael's project sheet from a few years ago. Any 3-D crocheted flower would do nicely.

For the leaves, ch 10-15 sts, and do a progression from sl st, sc, hdc, dc, htc, tc and back down in the back half of the chain sts, turn and go down the other side.

Used a plastic bowl given out by the Ohio Union. You could decoupage the container or even crochet a matching basket if you were feeling really gung-ho, but I was short on materials and time.

Cut a circle of cardboard to fit the top and hot-glue flowers and leaves on top. Try mounding different size flowers for a fuller effect.

So cute!! I wish I were crafty *sigh* Although, I think I'm going to use my tax return to buy a sewing machine. which will probably be used exclusively to make handbags out of funky fabric. Oh! and maybe aprons.
